Paragon Tea Room

Paragon Tea Room makes one of the best matcha lattes I’ve had in Vancouver. You can really taste the quality..it’s smooth, earthy, and not too sweet, with that perfect balance of bitterness and creaminess. They use ceremonial grade matcha, and it shows in the bright green color and clean flavor. I usually get it with oat milk, and it’s always rich without feeling heavy. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but if you love matcha or want to taste authentic matcha without being disappointed, this place is a must visit!

There’s no bad drinks at Paragon. Their staff is also very knowledgeable about their offerings and even takes your preferences into account when ordering. I always stop by when I’m at YVR.

I was so happy to find out that Paragon Tea is in YVR airport! I was feeling sleepy, and thank goodness I could grab good matcha before my flight. Tried the summer special, mango matcha, and I really love it! The customer service was friendly and excellent.

This one is their special valentine menu so you can't find it on their menu. The staffs are friendly and the matcha is also delicious. But for me, it's a bit sweet at the bottom because the strawberry jam will stay at the bottom even if you mix it. Maybe I'll try other menu like hojicha because I don't like sweet matcha. [Updated] I ordered a matcha latte and wasn’t sure which milk to choose, they had coconut, oat, and almond. I was a bit confused, but the two ladies behind the counter were so kind and helpful! They offered recommendations and even gave me small samples of coconut and oat milk to help me decide. That level of care and attention really made my day. I ended up loving the one I chose and the whole experience was just so warm and thoughtful. Thank you!
